Temporary road closures at Mt Mee Section of D'Aguilar National Park Park alerts for Around Brisbane

Due to current severe weather conditions, many roads within the Mount Mee section of the D'Aguilar National Park (located outside Dayboro, north-west of Brisbane) have been closed temporarily for safety reasons. The use of vehicles on unsealed roads within the reserve during this time is considered dangerous due to road conditions and local flooding. The safety of visitors is of concern to the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service during these conditions. Affected parks: D'Aguilar National Park.

Temporary closure of Northern Access Track due to heavy rainfall Park alerts for Around Brisbane

The Northern Access Track north of the Poverty Creek camping area will be closed from midday Friday 23rd February through to Monday 26th February due to the heavy rainfall forecast over the weekend. Affected parks: Bribie Island National Park and Recreation Area.

Due to the current wet weather access along public roads in the Mount Mee section of D'Aguilar National Park may be temporarily restricted. Observe all signage, barriers and directions from rangers, and do not enter closed areas. Causeways may be flooded and trees may be down across roads. Roads across the park are currently wet and slippery and conditions can change quickly depending on local winds and rainfall. QPWS urges drivers to exercise extra caution when access D'Aguilar National Park. If its flooded forget it. Park Alerts on the departments website are regularly updated regarding conditions on park. The wildfire threat on Moreton Island has eased with favourable weather conditions assisting our fire fighting efforts. Affected parks: Moreton Island National Park and Recreation Area.

Daisy Hill Mountain Bike Trails Closed Park alerts for Around Brisbane

Possum Box, Chip Line Trail, Jumping Ant, Lace Monitor, Jim Finch, Glossy Black Cockatoo Link and Gillian's Trail are closed until further notice due to wet conditions. Day Use Area facilities will remain open. Affected parks: Daisy Hill Conservation Park.
